Participation in sport contributes significantly to the all-round development of each student. We have the facilities, expertise and enthusiasm to help every student achieve their sporting goals and we encourage all, whether beginners or high-performance athletes, to achieve excellence.
Sport is an integral part of a healthy and active lifestyle developing key life skills such as resilience, humility, teamwork and communication. As a boarding school we also see the benefits sport has on our students’ mental health and wellbeing.
With over 20 sporting options available, both competitively and recreationally, the sporting programme offers something for all students no matter their skill level or interest. With a wealth of exceptional sporting facilities onsite, a walk through our extensive, leafy campus will show you our active, purposeful community.
The Sporting programme at Fettes has four key elements:
"Whether an enthusiastic amateur or future Olympian, Fettes has the facilities, expertise and enthusiasm to enable each and every student to achieve their sporting goals."
