A hub of creativity and exploration.
Our stunning light-filled Salvesen Art School was purpose-built to house double height studios, a specialist library, ceramics room and permanent gallery space.
Students regularly exhibit their creative work throughout the year, both in our art gallery and in other areas across the school; allowing other students, parents and staff to enjoy and reflect on their artwork as it develops. We empower our students to develop their creativity in a highly personalised and individual way.
We have an Artist in Residence who works alongside senior students to give an insight into professional art practice. Our current Artist in Residence is Lauren Browne, a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, who joins Sixth Form classes every week to provide students with critical feedback on their individual projects and offers additional support and advice to students who plan to pursue Art in further education.
13+ and 16+ Art Scholarships are available.
