T Form had a fabulous Geography and Science field trip to the Pentlands this week.
They walked around Threipmuir and Harlaw Reservoirs looking at some of the landform features and seeing how the natural landscape has been impacted and used by humans.
They also looked at Red Moss Nature Reserve, as an example of a raised bog, and identified many native types of flora and fauna along the way. It was great to be out in the fresh air, bringing a bit of life to many of the things that they have been learning about in the classroom.
