The Prep School Pipe Band were on top form as they took to the stage at the 1912 Society Concert!

They played a drum fanfare, Bonnie Galloway and finished with "The Gael". Composed by Scottish legend, Dougie MacLean OBE, this tune featured as the main theme in the film “Last of the Mohicans”.

Against stiff competition from the College, our Prep pupils did us proud and won the following awards:

Ram - 1^st place -  Class 2 Drumming, Junior Drumming Quaich

Charlie - 1^st place - Class 2 Piping, The Sutherland Cup

Hugo -1st place - Class 3 Piping, The Murray Cup

Anna - the 'Oliver Mace' award for most improved drummer

We were treated to a wonderful performance from the Pipe Band during an assembly and despite the fact that they were missing a few members who were away on a trip, they wowed us all.
