Fettes’ 150^th Anniversary celebrations have begun and here at the Prep School we kicked off the celebrations with a cupcake at breaktime. We also received beautiful commemorative pins which we proudly displayed to mark this historic event.

During an afternoon of sunshine and showers we took to Bigside to re-enact the game of cricket played by the very first pupils of the College on their first day at the school. We cheerfully dodged the showers an in a series of mini quick cricket matches that maintained our ‘bubbles’. We batted, bowled, and ran as fast as we could between the wickets with some of us even managing to become a little muddy in our enthusiasm to field!

There was a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly competition during the afternoon which was thoroughly enjoyed by us all.
