Last year our art students had to work under very difficult circumstances because for two terms out of their usual five they were Learning from Home dealing with different time zones and with little or no access to materials. More importantly, everyone had to work without the face-to-face support and creative community that the Art Department always offers.

Returning to school in April was so exciting and all of our students were delighted to be back in the studios. They made the very best of their time; talking about their ideas; making new work and planning for their exhibition.

Over the past year all our artists have had to find new ways to show their work and share ideas and many have found new and creative ways to do this which is commendable.

As exams results have now been announced we are able to showcase their fantastic work and share with you this virtual exhibition we created at the end of last term. We hope it will give a flavour of our students’ work and offers an opportunity for you to share in their achievements. We are immensely proud of all they have done. For us the experience of creating this online exhibition in addition to the live one has been challenging and rewarding in equal measure and we hope that you will enjoy viewing the students’ work.
