Following changes in government guidelines, we were utterly delighted to welcome a number of College students back on to the Fettes campus for non-contact sports and activities from March 15th. The normal virtual teaching day was followed by local students arriving on to campus to make the most of the spring afternoons and sporting faculties. The campus came alive with the sound of student catching up with each other, laughing and generally having a fantastic time together.

The sun shone as student enjoyed being coached in cricket, hockey or tennis, undertook track and field sessions, practiced golf, attended outdoor fitness sessions, mountain biked around campus or tried out the new disc golf facility.

“Seeing my friends and teachers again was brilliant! It is so different to our usual on-screen lessons and it made me even more excited to come back to school in April”
Of course, all current Covid-19 guidelines were followed very carefully, including physical distancing and face coverings as well as student taking a Lateral Flow Test in advance of attending.

Thank you to the staff who helped out and genuinely loved seeing students face-to-face once more. We now cannot wait until April 12th when we will all be together again.
