Support for Learning plays a key role in the co-ordination of student support across the School. The Department works closely with subject staff, department heads, housemasters, housemistresses and parents to establish and maintain excellent lines of communication, and for sharing information and ideas.

The successful candidate will be involved in group and one-to-one teaching of students who require assistance with specific learning needs, notably supporting the skills in Numeracy and Literacy that underpin the GCSE syllabus. Some students do not require teaching of specific skills but monitoring to ensure they are keeping on top of their work. Other students receive help with study skills.

The appointment will date from the start of the Autumn Term 2021. Salary will be by negotiation and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Other details and conditions of service can be discussed at interview.
