On Thursday 10th October, three professional actors from The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust spent the day at the Prep School, leading sessions with S, T, 1st and 2nd Forms. Each session focused on the current texts that the year groups are studying in their English lessons. For S Form this is ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ T Form, the story of ‘Pyramus and Thisbe’ and its use in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, 1st Form ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and 2nd Form, ‘The Tempest.’

The children learnt a great deal and were hugely engaged by the three highly energetic and enthusiastic actors who ran the sessions; lots of questions were asked and answered! It was a fantastic day of fun learning.
