T form had a combined Geography and Science Field Trip to The Pentlands this week. Our T Form pupils walked a four-mile circuit around the reservoirs, enjoying a beautiful day out in the glorious countryside. Along the way the group stopped to identify trees and plants, birds, caterpillars and mushrooms! The children also learned a little more about the reservoirs and the weather, recognising cloud formations and rainfall over the hills. Everyone enjoyed a packed lunch overlooking the water, before squelching through farmland and map reading their way back to the minibuses for a well-earned rest!
