On Friday, T Form travelled to Edinburgh’s Portobello Beach to conduct a litter pick on the beach and promenade. Working with ‘Keep Porty Tidy’ this sponsored clean-up was not only a valuable contribution to the environment but also enabled to pupils to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that is traditionally supported by T Form on their Field Day each year. 

As an addition to their fund-raising initiatives another sponsored event was held which provided the entire Prep community with the chance to hear from Hamish Watson, Edinburgh Rugby, Scotland, and British and Irish Lions player. The live call, hosted by Mr Bywater, featured questions posed by pupils, parents and staff and was a huge success. Hamish gave us a great insight into the highs and lows of being a professional rugby player. He talked about the importance of a strong support network and the fantastic camaraderie that comes with playing in a team. Hamish selected his proudest rugby moment as his first cap for Scotland and his career highlight to date Scotland's 2018 Calcutta Cup win.

These two events have raised over £700 so far with further ventures planned.
