Fettes Prep was delighted to be joining other Scottish Prep Schools in a brand-new inter-district tournament. What was formerly a set of fixtures that pitted the Dandylions against the WOSPS has become three new team partnerships. Fettes are joined by Cargilfield to make up ‘The Saltires’, Ardvreck, Craigclowan and St Leonards have joined forces to become ‘The Caledonians’ and Belhaven Hill, Loretto and St Mary’s are ‘The Thistles’.

The inaugural Rugby and Hockey fixtures, held yesterday at Loretto and Cargilfield, were highly competitive, keenly contested and enjoyed by all. This time around it was The Saltires who were victors in both competitions. Many congratulations to all the Hockey and Rugby players who represented their schools in yesterday’s games, it is a real achievement to be selected and a great experience to play alongside, rather than against, each other!

Well done to the Fettes Rugby contingent comprising, Gregoire, Rory, Max, Archie, Alec and Jack. Selena, Zoe, Megan, Ava and Isabella were our representatives for the Hockey Saltires team and did us proud.
