The Prep School was filled with excitement as pupils and staff celebrated Modern Language Celebration Day, an event that showcased the diverse range of languages spoken around the world. Pupils arrived dressed in attire representative of the languages they spoke or were learning, with traditional garments and casual outfits adorned with flags and cultural symbols. The school corridors were transformed into a vibrant display of global unity and cultural pride. However, the highlight of the day was not solely the costumes; it was the pupils themselves, who took the opportunity to teach their peers about their respective languages and cultures.

Throughout the day, pupils of all ages delivered engaging mini-lessons, imparting phrases, songs, and cultural insights from their native languages. Sessions included instruction in African languages, Japanese, Ukrainian, and many other languages, offering everyone the chance to experience the richness of communication through various linguistic lenses. We were all pleased to see the enthusiasm and dedication with which the pupils embraced this opportunity, both in sharing their knowledge and learning from one another.
