On Sunday, Iona House awoke to discover that it had snowed overnight so the girls were very keen to get outside! After a quick breakfast they wrapped up warm and headed out to enjoy snowball fights, making snow angels and just running around in the fresh air.

Unfortunately, the snow didn’t last long, but it didn’t matter as they were booked on a trip to Honeypot Ceramics in the afternoon. Here everyone spent a very creative couple of hours painting mugs and plates with bespoke designs, with a break for a hot chocolate in the middle. The finished articles were very impressive and will be a lovely keepsake of a fun afternoon.

Meanwhile, after a morning of snowball fights and snow sculpture designing, Arran House spent their afternoon at Ninja Warrior, UK, Edinburgh. The boys swung, leaped, ran, dodged, balanced and so much more and happily enjoyed their icy slushies at the end of the session.
