Sunday began with the first set of matches in the boarders’ touch rugby competition 2022. It was a great way to shake off the cobwebs after a bit of a lie in and was enjoyed by all those involved.

The Arran family then headed off to take part in their Sunday activity on campus. They all had a go at mountain biking on the Fettes course plus and then headed over to the low ropes course, which as well as engendering plenty of team spirit and support, was extremely popular with all. 

Whilst Arran remained on site, the Iona girls hopped in the minibuses and headed for Edinburgh Zoo. They spent time looking at the penguins, koalas and red pandas, to name just a few. Seeing the giraffes and dinosaur park definitely made the uphill walk worthwhile, and a visit to the gift shop/snack stalls added to the fun!
