The weather forecast was not quite what we would have hoped for on a day that featured a trip to the beach and a BBQ for the Iona and Arran boarders, but we boarded the bus with a hopeful attitude and, sure enough, the weather exceeded expectations and the sun even made an appearance.

Gullane beach, once again, provided a place to enjoy a picnic, explore the rock pools, take a dip in the sea and generally have fun after a busy first week back at school. Once back in school, we were treated to a delicious BBQ from our excellent catering team which was followed by some games on Bigside in the evening sunshine.

What a super Sunday for the start of term!
