On Sunday, the Iona House and Arran House boarders headed to the beach at Gullane armed with a picnic lunch and a sense of adventure!

After enjoying lunch, we spent the afternoon climbing sandhills, braving the sea, playing tennis, building a campfire, exploring the rock pools and just relaxing in the sunshine. 

The trip was topped off with a stop at the ice cream van, which was much appreciated by all, before making our way to the coach and the short journey back into Edinburgh.

On our return, we tucked into a delicious BBQ supper which was followed by wide games. These were organised by Mr Mill who had everyone running around the campus as we did our best to represent each of the teams. It was Arran House who took victory this time, but next week may be a different story, so we'll watch this space!
