Congratulations to Upper Sixth Form student Leo T who has secured a place at Columbia University in the City of New York, where he will follow their famous Core Curriculum that celebrates literature, history, philosophy, music, art and science. Columbia ranks amongst the world’s top universities and has an outstanding academic reputation, with more Nobel Laureates as alumni and teachers than any other Ivy League school.
Leo says “I was drawn to Columbia because of discussion-style seminars that characterise the university’s Core Curriculum. This will allow me to build strong intellectual foundations and generate new theories by drawing from ancient ideas, which I’m very excited about. I also look forward to benefiting from the abundance of opportunities a global city like New York provides.”
