Fourteen schools took part in the Under 13 Fettes Hockey Tournament on Wednesday 1st November. The sun miraculously appeared after a morning of heavy rain and both Astros were ready for the start of play.

Each of the teams had 6 pool games, and the Fettes Prep A team competed well with four wins, one draw and I loss in this round. Despite these super results, they ended up 3^rd in the pool, which took them into 5^th place play off with the opposite pool, where they came up against Cargilfield. They put on an impressive team performance, in very damp conditions, to score two against their opposition to win their final game. 

The Fettes B team consisted of mainly Under 12 girls, so this was an opportunity to get some experience of tournament play. They put in some excellent performances against older and more experienced teams, coming away with 1 win, 1 draw and 4 (very close) losses, finishing 5^th in their pool. 

It was an exciting final between GWC and St. Marys which resulted in GWC winning the tournament.
