The weekends of 11th and 18th March saw some fantastic hockey from our U15 and 1st XI teams. The girls were up first, playing some great hockey against a very strong Edinburgh Academy team.  Fettes  stood strong in the first half with some amazing defensive work from Emma L and Flora S. Neither team managed to score in regular time meaning running penalties. Unfortunately, the girls lost the shootout. It was still a really great achievement to make it to the final. Well done girls.

The boys were up next against George Watson’s College. Fettes scored the first goal through Oliver B. Both teams continued to play great hockey but 10 minutes into the second half George Watson’s equalised the score. Running penalties again, this time Fettes prevailed. Special mention to Max L for a really great performance. What an achievement, boys - well done.

Our 1^st boys were also up against George Watson’s College, this was an amazing final.  Both teams played great hockey, with Xavax C scoring the first goal of the game.  Despite a well defended second half by Fettes, Watson’s scored their second goal.  A great effort in a great final – well done boys.
