The Under 14 netball team finished off their season in style in the Scottish Cup. In the semi- final the girls demonstrated resilience and amazing fitness to come back from a 4 point deficit at the end of the first quarter and gradually gained control of the match against Peebles High School, with amazing work from captain Anabele S and Alice H.

A ten-point victory booked their place in the Final which was held at the Emirates Stadium in Glasgow against StAndrew’s Academy. The Final was a thriller with both teams playing exceptionally well. There was never more than 1 point separating the teams in a tight first half and the feeling in the stadium was that St Andrew’s were starting to gain the advantage. In a fluctuating second half the team produced a monumental effort and gradually wore down the resistance of their opponents. Critical interventions from Lucy P, Layla S and Martha M-C allowed Aimee E and Alice H the opportunity to win the match in the final seconds and they took their chance brilliantly. With a final score of 28-15, the team were delighted to be Scottish Champions for the second year in a row.
