Till We Meet Again

The emotive final week of term always passes so quickly but the memories made will last a lifetime for our leavers. From the Leavers’ Recital to drinks on the Head’s lawn, their final Sports Day to Founder’s Day itself, we hope they enjoyed every moment of their final week.

On Founder’s Day, we welcomed Old Fettesian Mr Christopher Ferguson (JS-Ki 1990-1996) who shared with us how failure can lead to success and gave the invaluable advice of always having a plan B. In the Head’s address, Mrs Harrison focussed on praising the wide range of accomplishments of the leavers, not naming any names, but knowing that her speech would strike a chord with all:

“We applaud our leavers and I would encourage all those younger members of the school hearing this to follow the example they’ve set in seeking to emulate the range, colour and vitality of their achievements.”

Have a wonderful summer, good luck with your results and stay in touch – you are always welcome at Fettes.
