Despite lots of challenges and need for creative thinking Third Form Field Week (usually a 1-week residential outdoor pursuits and academic fieldwork trip) was split between activities on and off campus . The team at Fettes worked hard to pull together a new format for the week, and all students and staff embraced all activities making TFFW a huge success and as equally rewarding as other years. The activities included Mountain Biking, Pentlands Hill walks, Water-sports and camping on the grounds of Fettes. During this week our 3rd Form students also got to use some of these activities to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh training.

Thankfully the stunning weather combined with the positive and enthusiastic year group all helped to make this week a huge success. The goal of providing an opportunity to bond the 3rd Form was completely achieved and a huge thanks to everyone that was involved and helped.
