We are delighted to feature 2025 Leaver, Laura T, who is heading to Durham to read Geography. Laura said, “Fettes gave me so many opportunities to realise what I could achieve, both in and out of the classroom. The community of teachers, houseparents and friends encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone whilst also providing endless care and support for which I will always be grateful. Their guidance not only helped me get the most out of school and aim high, but also gave me so many lasting, happy memories. I am leaving Fettes now with lifelong friends, meaningful accomplishments and a much greater confidence in myself. I think my third form self would have been surprised but also incredibly reassured to hear this.”
