Sports Day 2024 was another great celebration of track and field athletics, with some notable individual performances across both days of competition.

In the Junior event Archie F, Louis M, Jadia O, Sienna H, Patrick P and Archie S all won multiple track and field events whilst in the Intermediate and Senior events Cleodie S, Glen G, Marianna M, Clementina P, Alexander R, Shope J and Fergus P did the same.

The performance of the day, however, went to Rory B in the Class 1 event. Rory broke both the 100m and 200m School Records on the day and anchored his relay team to wins at both 6x200m and 4x100m.

Overall winners of Sports Day were College West for the girls and Moredun for the boys.

On 13 June, Glen G broke the Class 2 boys Long Jump record which has stood since 1947. This was our longest standing Sports Day record by 16 years, with the next being the 1963 6x200m relay record of 2m25.1s which held by Carrington.
