Fourth Form students Anna H and Clemmie A were delighted to attend the Young Person’s Fringe Event at the Service Children’s Progression Alliance (Scip) Conference in Glasgow yesterday on behalf of Fettes Forces children. Accompanied by Mr Jay Forbes and Mrs Emily Whitley, the girls greatly enjoyed attending the event which focused on a 'Whole Person, Whole Journey' approach to supporting the education and wellbeing of children from UK Armed Forces families. 

Fettes is proud of our long history with the forces and these links are as strong today as they ever were. As one of the few remaining full boarding schools with over 70% full boarders, our weekend activities programme is wide-ranging and fun. A number of former members of the forces - such as Mr Forbes - work here at Fettes, and we have a strong network of current forces families.

In recognition of the service Forces Families provide, we currently offer a special tiered remission to HM Forces families based on year group and rank and we are delighted to announce that from September 2026 Fettes College will become a 10% School, making the fees for HM Forces families equal to the CEA allowance plus 10% of the total fees inclusive of VAT.
