On the McMurray the Senior House competition was a very tightly contested affair and the game of the day was definitely the semi-final 1 between College East and Arniston. College East took an early lead with a brilliant deflection and followed up just before half time. Arniston came out in the second half with real determination and put East under a lot of pressure. A rebound from a corner brought them back within one goal and then an additional last minute goal 3 minutes to go meant that the game ended 2-2. The running penalties were all about the goalkeepers with both Lou T and Phoebe M-B making outstanding saves. Marissa M scored the only goal of the running penalties and this was enough to put College East through to the final.

In semi-final 2 it was a very cagey first half between Dalmeny and College West and at half time only one goal separated the two sides. Dalmeny managed to extend their lead early in the second half but College West really fought back. Dalmeny ended up victorious and set up a College East vs Dalmeny final.

The final was played with a real intensity and was highly competitive. Dalmeny scored very early and this ended up being the only goal of the game. Dalmeny took home the trophy however overall there was some outstanding Hockey played by all four teams.
