Friday 22^nd November saw Fettes College host the biggest and most well-attended Scottish Schools Indoor Rowing Championships in years.

With six new schools entering for 2024. Fettes Students put up an incredible performance, with a record 60 individual racers across all age-groups, and of these, an incredible 56 of the performances were new Personal Bests. We also re-grouped to form 11 different relay teams for the afternoon racing. Notable performances were Rosie M who took Gold in girls S1 and Fergus P who took Gold in Boys S6.

Many thanks and congratulations to all the visiting schools. Thanks also go to Olympian Rowan McKellar (GB Women’s 8 and Bronze Medallist, Paris 2024), who brought her medal along and was so generous with her time,  answering a range of questions from students.
