This year’s whole school Charity Run raised a record-breaking total of £16,791 for FetLor Youth Club. 

It was a whole Fettes community fundraiser engaging everyone from youngest Hive to Upper Sixth, and OFs who joined remotely - people ran, cheered, rowed and swam from start to finish!

The Prep School’s fancy dress theme, Childhood Dreams, brought the course to life with heroes we admire, characters we love, and the people we dream of becoming. From start to finish, the energy, creativity, and determination on display were truly inspiring.
 

Dr Richie Adams said "The proudest moment for me, in my role as Chief Executive of FetLor Youth Club, was Sunday morning. To stand at the start line seeing everyone in the whole school taking part in the Fettes for FetLor charity runs, giving your all and doing so wearing the FetLor orange t-shirts, meant the world to me. The Fettes value of Giving Back could not be more visible in all that Fettes does to support the young people of North Edinburgh. The real winners of Sunday were those kids. The 21 kids who will now, as a result of this amazing achievement, be able to be funded to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and embrace those transformational experiences, as a result. Thank you to everyone at Fettes for all you have done to support FetLor and to support those young people."
