House Public Speaking Competition
Last night, our House Public Speaking Competition took place, showcasing impressive performances from students ranging from the Third to the Lower Sixth Forms. The theme of the competition was "What Makes a Hero," allowing students to interpret it in their own ways.
The judges were impressed with all the competitors who made their houses proud, and we saw some stylish and inspirational speeches throughout the evening. The judges felt that Sylvie M-L, who won on points, and Edward L were the best speakers in the senior category. Sylvie was praised for her powerful delivery and Edward for his moving personal angle.
The best junior speakers were Emelia A who spoke with real clarity and Donald C who edged ahead with his range of evidence and some quirky ideas.
Congratulations to both Sylvie and Donald and all our competitors.
