On Saturday, a group of Lower Sixth Form A Level and IB students attended the Scottish International Poetry Festival in St Andrews. The first event focused on poetry in translation and the students  were treated to poetry in Spanish, Catalan, Farsi, German and English. There was time to explore St Andrews as a prospective university option before seeing ex-Makar Jackie Kay perform, accompanied by former Edinburgh Makar Hannah Lavery.
