Each year our Fettes Career Partnership Programme organises mock interviews for Oxbridge candidates from Fettes and a selection of local high schools too. Due to restrictions, all mock interviews are taking place virtually again this year but we have no doubt their enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity will shine through.

There will be 54 interviews taking place (30 for Cambridge and 24 for Oxford) each candidate being paired with a subject specialist in their chosen field of future study. Students from Boroughmuir High School, Broughton High School, Currie Community High School, Drummond Community High School, Firrhill High School, James Gillespie’s High School, Portobello High School, The Royal High School, Trinity Academy and Fettes College are all taking part.

We are so grateful to our staff, parents, Old Fettesians and friends of Fettes who are providing academically stimulating interviews, in-depth feedback and personal insight into the Oxford and Cambridge interview process. There is a real mixture of subjects the candidates want to read ranging from Architecture to Psychology, Medicine to Computer Science. We wish all students taking part the very best as we support them on this academic journey.
