Our Upper Sixth Form IB students organised and hosted the first Open Mic Night of this academic year, with the event raising funds for those affected by the Moroccan Earthquake in September, some of whom are known to the IB students who had travelled there for their CAS trip. After a show-stopping opening with the dance troupe’s K-Pop routine (Vanessa C, Romy P, Rina S and Lena R) Grace D, Vanessa C and Ava E-W all sang beautiful solos, as did Thomas E accompanied at the piano by Fletcher L. Douglas G, Sasha P, Anna E, Beth D and Edward L were the magnificent One Direction tribute band, and the evening was rounded off brilliantly by Fletcher L, Arthur L and Honor S. The event raised close to £200 and put a smile on everyone’s face!
