New Houseparent for College East

We very much look forward to welcoming Vicki Sutton as Houseparent of College East from September 2026. Vicki will succeed Maggie Rait who has been Houseparent of College East since 2020.

Vicki Sutton joins Fettes from St Leonards School in St Andrews, where she has been Head of Futures and Bishopshall Housemistress for two and a half years; prior to this Vicki was Deputy Head of House and Head of Politics at Charterhouse school.

Commenting on her appointment, Vicki says “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed as Houseparent of College East. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the girls; they embody kindness, confidence, and enthusiasm in such abundance. College East is clearly a vibrant community, and I am eager to continue building upon the incredible success that Maggie and her team have established. My goal is to ensure the House remains a supportive environment where every girl feels empowered to achieve her best, both academically and personally. I cannot wait to get started and help shape the next chapter of this wonderful House.”
