The Mountain Biking session held on Sunday the 4th October was advertised as an intermediate development session…intermediate cyclists they were not! 9 students from the 3rd and 4th Form explored every inch of the Fettes grounds in search of slopes, steps and jumps. It was brilliant to see the weekends weather improve just in time for a challenging and progressive skill activity.
Mountain Biking has become a regular activity within the Fettes Outdoor Pursuits programme as we prepare students for advanced cycling at Glentress, the Assistant Instructor Programme and journey options into the Pentlands.
Well done to everyone that took part! We look forward to the next session in a few weeks time!
