MacLeod Debating Competition Final
This year's MacLeod debating competition came to a nail-biting conclusion - Geordie M and Benedict L proposed 'This house would keep to Net Zero Targets', opposed by last year's finalists Iona M and Seamus Y. Both sides presented their cases well; the proposition was strong as a structured package while the opposition had more evidence and a very stylish summing-up. With both teams demonstrating winning qualities, the judging panel were faced with a difficult decision and after some time of deliberation, victory went to Iona and Seamus.
We have had some great debating this term – well done to everyone who has taken part.
