On October 12^th, Language Leaders award certificates were presented by Mrs Harrison, Head. The Language Leaders award is a programme from ‘Routes into Languages’ managed by the University Council of Modern Languages (UCML), a sector wide association representing Modern Languages in the UK. 

The programme aims to develop teaching, leadership, planning and communication skills. It culminates in teaching one of the four languages that Fettes offer: French, German, Mandarin, or Spanish, to primary school children at Stockbridge Primary School in the Summer Term. The programme lasts for the entire year and is available to all languages students in the fourth form.
