Students found their practice interviews both informative and helpful, exploring and testing their academic credentials and ensuring their skills of communication were optimised.

Camilla Smith, Teacher of Classics and Oxbridge Coordinator at Fettes College, said, ‘With candidates already starting to receive invitations to interview, preparation is key. At Fettes, we were delighted to support interview practice for the 30 applicants from other High Schools and for our own 23 applicants from Fettes College. I am incredibly grateful to all the Fettes parents, Old Fettesians, and members of the Fettes academic staff and their contacts for generously offering up their time and expertise, particularly staff who have offered ongoing support for candidates from other schools. I hope all the candidates will work on their feedback in their continued preparation and that this experience has given them the confidence to be at their best on interview day.’
