The Final of the Inter-house 6^th Form ‘Universally Challenged’ Quiz took place last Thursday, in Hudson-Cooke. Arniston vs Moredun, each team of 4 had worked through two previous rounds to make it this far. Following the same format as University Challenge each team had fingers on the buzzers for starters for 10, with correct answers gaining them the opportunity to answer three bonus questions.

Arniston made a quick lead answering questions on a diverse range of topics from Stoicism, Religion and Evolution. The Moredun team made a valiant attempt to take the lead, but Arniston’s quick reactions on the buzzer and sound knowledge of classical ballets kept them in the lead.

When the final gong sounded the scores stood at Arniston 150 to Moredun 60.
