Our House Steeplechase took place on Saturday and the Fettes campus welcomed our young Fettesians with a warm autumnal glow. Spirits were high and our students flocked to represent their houses alongside their fellow housemates.
According to our archives, the first House Steeplechase took place sometime before 1878 and has been a favourite school tradition for many Fettesians over the years. Historically our Fettesians even took joy in crossing the wintery water of the Fettes pond, which we’re glad to say, no longer exists!
All our students took part in this year’s race and everyone performed incredibly well, displaying fantastic sportsmanship and dedication. Huge congratulations to Dalmeny House and Carrington House for finishing in first place! Click here to see the full image gallery.
