Yesterday saw the first Coffee Concert of the year. A packed audience enjoyed impressive and engaging performances from: Matthew J on piano playing, most sensitively, ‘Sehr Langsam’ by Schumann, Sylvie ML who engaged the audience with her singing and self-accompanied guitar in Lord Huron’s ‘The Night we met’ and Hazel M performing Monti’s thrilling ‘Csárdás’ on violin. 

The Hymn draw for the House Singing competition also took place – well done to the Heads of House who sang the first verse of ‘their’ hymn so courageously – and we look forward to the House Singing Competition on 4^th October.
