Pupils and  parents from Aysgarth School arrived at Fettes on Friday 22nd November for lunch followed by a tour of our campus before being taken by minibus to The Oriam – an indoor rugby pitch based at Heriot Watt University.  Because of the ice and severe weather warnings, the much anticipated rugby games were unable to be played on the Fettes pitches, so The Oriam was an  exciting indoor alternative! The U13As played their match on one half of the gigantic pitch and the U13Bs played their match on the other. Two excellent games of rugby were contested with some wonderful play and some outstanding tries scored from both sides. Fettes came out on top in the Bs match and Aysgarth came out on top in the As match - a great afternoon of rugby!
