Congratulations to the Fettes College Pipe Band who were placed 2nd in the March event at this year’s Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships held on Sunday 8 June in Dundee.

Particular thanks go to Cal L, who made his first appearance with the band, Hamish C, for stepping up and playing bass in both A and B performances and Olly CM for stepping up and leading the drum corps as drum sergeant. Great performances from all!

This was the final competitive performance from Pipe Major Nyasha W, Pipe Sergeant Luca A, Rory B and Tess H; who are to be especially thanked for managing their revision and exam commitment well and contributing to strong performances yesterday!

Well done to all our pipers and drummers who have had a fantastic year of piping and drumming – not least in performances at Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the New York Tartan Day parade.
