The Inter-House Universally Challenged Final took Place on Thursday 23rd November between Carrington and College East. This is a General Knowledge quiz for Sixth Form Students based on University Challenge style rounds and covering topics as diverse as literature, science and knot-tying.   Both Teams had won their knock-out heats and semi-finals with strong displays of knowledge and quick fingers-on-the-buzzer answers, so we were expecting a hotly contested match.

Carrington led from the start, showcasing their diverse knowledge of geography, mathematics and languages, College East made a valiant effort but were unable to match the speed of the Carrington Team.  The final gong rang with the scores at Carrington 175: College East 40.

Well done to both teams, and congratulations to Carrington!
