Our Artist-in-residence, Lauren Browne has been hosting a series of Artist talks over the Spring Term with more to come in the Summer Term. Students have enjoyed hearing from experienced artists, all with different practices and knowledge to share. Our guests in the series have included:

• Lewis Baillie, a photographer and filmmaker, who specialises in event photography, music videos and documentaries.
• Aisha Plumridge, a painter who gave an inspiring talk on the importance of drawing and how it enhances creative development. She spoke about the role of storytelling in her narratives, offering a fascinating insight into her artistic practice. 
• Finley Yates, an artist specialising in painting and bookmaking. He delivered a fascinating session in which he shared his creative journey, handmade books, drawings, and paintings. 
• Amy McLean, who shared her incredible artistic journey including her stunning paintings, drawings and experiences in Prague and India. She also shared her insights into curating a successful exhibition.

We are looking forward to welcoming three more artists in the Summer Term.
