At the start of the Ukrainian refugee crisis, the Fettes community responded by donating large amounts of aid in the form of food, clothing, bedding, emergency medicines and toiletries. This was then processed with the help of sixth formers who volunteered in sorting, repackaging, labelling in English and Ukrainian 60 boxes and 50 bags of aid. These were delivered to a lorry, co-ordinated by a local Ukrainian Society, which headed to Lviv and then to Kharkiv on Monday 21^st March.
