Congratulations to Mr Finlay MacIntyre who recently completed a 2 year apprenticeship with Fettes, as Apprentice Gardener achieving SVQ Level 2.  This is the first time Fettes has introduced an apprenticeship programme, which enabled Mr MacIntyre to learn important skills from our Grounds Team and our highly-experienced Head Gardener, enabling him to now make informed choices for his future career and opportunities to further develop his new skills and experience. 

Mrs Davidson, Fettes Human Resources Manager, says “we are delighted that this first apprenticeship programme has worked so well and we have been able to offer an opportunity to introduce someone to a new set of skills.  Fettes is a collaborative community in which every member is working towards  fully realising their potential whilst supporting those around them and I thank all staff who have supported Finlay through his apprenticeship.”
