We hope that many Old Fettesians, former staff and parents, past and present will join us to summit 150 of the 282 Munros across Scotland between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th September.

Just ahead of Rec. Leave, on 25th September all current College pupils and many Prep School pupils will climb around 60 Munros in small House groups. Then, on 26th and 27th September we need your help to summit around 90 Munros and 'fly the flag' for Fettes as together we achieve our target of 150 summits in total over the weekend.

For those who are overseas and would like to participate, we would welcome your support. Could you summit a peak of an equivalent 3000ft height, during this period to help us to reach our target?

This exciting challenge is being masterminded by Mr Rhys Rowlands, Head of Outdoor Education at Fettes. To help him plan the logistics, if you want to lead a group to a summit, be part of a walking group or help and support others throughout the weekend, we would like to hear from you soon. Please sign up.

At Fettes we love an outdoor challenge. Please help us to achieve this very special one in our 150th year.

The 150 Munro Summits Challenge is one of a number of events we are planning throughout academic year 2020-21 to celebrate Fettes’ 150th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of girls joining the College.
