We are proud of our long history with the forces and these links are as strong today as they ever were.
We have a number of former members of the forces working here at Fettes and a strong network of current forces families.
In recognition to the service Forces Families provide, we offer a special remission to Forces Families. We offer a tiered remission to HM Forces families based on year group and rank.
Many Forces Families choose to send their children to Fettes College and we understand that many want their children to board at the same school. As Fettes is a co-educational full boarding school, siblings can be educated together in this family environment and they will enjoy a vibrant community at weekends as there is no mass exodus of students, at the weekends.

We run events for the children of our Forces Families to bring them together and allow them to build a specific community to support each other. For example an evening of bush craft, fire pits, and toasting marshmallows together.
We have an active Combined Cadet Force (CCF) at Fettes College.
Leadership training and opportunities to take on focused leadership roles are available to all students through a range of opportunities including participation in our low ropes course on campus, the CCF, the DoE Award, Community Service and participation in Societies, our students put their leadership training into practice providing valuable experience and confidence to set them up for life.
