Fettes is committed to broadening access to the school by offering means-tested financial support towards the payment of school fees - known as a Bursary. Bursaries can cover 100% of fees payable, depending on the financial circumstances of applicants.
- Bursaries at Fettes are not connected to Scholarships, which are awarded based on a child demonstrating excellence in a particular area.

The Fettes Kick-start Bursary is a transformational bursary initially established through the generous support of a charitable trust. It is designed to enable exceptionally able young people, who would otherwise be unable to access a Fettes education, to live, learn and thrive at Fettes. Awards are made at the discretion of Fettes College, taking account of available funding and the strength of applications received.
